Weekend Getaway: Four Seasons Hotel Miami

When you hear Miami you may think party scene and beach life but there is more to offer in this city. Nestled in the Brickell area you will find the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. Though not beachfront this gorgeous property has great views of the bay area of Miami. The hotel features 22 floors of spacious guest rooms including 39 suites.

On site you will find a spa, fitness center, two restaurants and a pool. FS Miami is a gorgeous hotel in proximity to just enough to make your stay memorable. Here are three reasons you should stay here with your family.

1. The Pool:

The pool area is absolutely gorgeous. It is located on the 7th floor and has 11 private cabanas available for rental. There is a main pool, jacuzzi, a hammock area as well as a kids pool area. The best part about the kids area is everything is made to their size. Making it feel like the perfect spot for kids to enjoy.

There is plenty of seating around the pool plus amazing pool service where you can grab food and drinks at your leisure. During busier times the pool area can get pretty busy so I suggest plotting to arrive early or mid afternoon depending on your schedule.

2. The Rooms:

We were nestled in a Four Seasons Executive Suite with a city view. This room had a bedroom with a king bed that housed a gorgeous marble bathroom. Inside you found a shower and separate tub which is perfect when traveling with smaller kids. In the main room there was a sectional size sofa that had a sofa bed along with a TV plus a table with seating,

Key features of this room also include a in-room coffee maker, refrigerated private bar along with a Sonos speaker found in the bedroom. This room was one of my favorites plenty of space, nice modern touches and amazing views of the city.

3. The Food:

The hotel has two on site restaurants. Edge Steak & Bar which serves a Contemporary American style cuisine. They have great Florida seafood and drink options here. I personally thought the cocktails were great and the service was exceptional. Bahia is located outside and has great lighter fare options. You can try the menu poolside and the inspiration is drawn from the coastal regions of Mexico.

Like other Four Seasons you have your option of in-room dining. We enjoyed a dinner and breakfast service during our stay. The service was fast, food was hot and the taste was 10/10. The Wagyu NY Strip Steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and definitely one of the best we have had. Breakfast wise the Smoked Salmon Bagel was refreshing and light perfect way to start the day. The pancakes, french toast and fresh squeezed orange juice were key players in making our day a success. Great food is not always easy to find and FS Miami does a great job.

Ultimately, the Four Seasons Hotel Miami is a great place all around. Whether a couples vacation or a family getaway this family-friendly hotel has something for everyone.

Until our next expedition…
