This has been a common new way to experience the outdoors in a new light and we recently were able to cross this off our family list! Summer time travel season is upon us and glamping may be just what you need to add to your list!
Timberline Glamping in Osprey,Florida offers an enchanting escape for those looking to experience the beauty of nature without sacrificing comfort. Upon arriving, guests are greeted with thoughtfully designed accommodations that blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings. I loved the amount of space inside for our family. You can add some add-ons like electric griddles, bike rental, games such as corn hole and jenga plus more! It's truly a serene escaped to wind down, unplug, and BOND! All sites are not far from the restrooms which have sinks, toilets as well as showers. Pack those flip flops, shower bag and essentials to make it easier.
This was our first time in Sarasota and I can tell you this will not be our last! Sarasota's vibrant ecosystem serves as the perfect backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities. Kayaking through serene waters, biking on scenic trails, and guided nature walks are just a few of the experiences that await you here at Oscar Scherer State Park.
Oscar Scherer State Park, nestled in the heart of Florida, is a hidden oasis offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Spanning over 1,400 acres, this state park is a paradise for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and wildlife watchers. Established in 1956, the park was originally created to protect the unique habitat of the Florida scrub jay, a species found nowhere else on earth. Today, it serves as a sanctuary for a wide variety of flora and fauna, providing endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.
The park boasts an impressive range of recreational activities. With over 15 miles of trails, visitors can indulge in hiking, biking, and bird-watching, immersing themselves in the park's natural beauty. The trails wind through diverse ecosystems, including pine flatwoods, scrubby flatwoods, and hardwood hammocks, each offering a unique experience. There is State Parks Junior Ranger Program where kids can be sworn in, they get a badge and can complete activities during their visit. This is at all Florida State Parks but was our first time participating and our girl loved this .

Timberline Sarasota is not just a place to stay, but a destination to be discovered, offering a blend of relaxation, adventure, and luxury that caters to the desires of every traveler.
